In the second quarter of 2024, the hack and slash category on iOS in Oceania saw varied performance trends among the top five applications. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Solo Leveling: Arise from Netmarble Corporation launched in early May and showed a promising start. Weekly revenue peaked at around $78K in mid-May but experienced a decline, ending June with approximately $26K. Downloads followed a downward trend from 27.4K in the first week to about 5.7K by the end of the quarter. However, active users saw an increase, climbing from 25.1K to 35K by late June.

Hades - NETFLIX had modest performance metrics. It recorded a small revenue increase, peaking at $18 in early June. Downloads decreased from 1.2K in early April to approximately 513 by the end of June. The app's active user base also saw a decline, dropping from 5.2K to around 3.7K over the quarter.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat by YunChang Games experienced a gradual decline in both revenue and downloads. Revenue started at $4.5K in early April and decreased to about $575 by the end of June. Downloads followed a similar trend, beginning with 5.5K and ending at around 218. Active users also declined from 5.3K to approximately 1.7K during the same period.

Disney Mirrorverse from Kabam Games, Inc. maintained stable performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $695 in late May. Downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 250 per week. Active users showed a slight increase, rising from 4.8K to 5.4K by the end of June.

Honkai Impact 3 by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. had a mixed quarter. Revenue peaked at approximately $4K in late April but dropped to about $894 by the end of June. Downloads remained low, averaging around 150 per week. Active users saw a decline from 776 in early April to around 593 by the end of the quarter.
